"It's not every day you get to stay in a home that was built in 1895. Yes the floors are a bit slanted and the toilet is super low to the ground - it's all part of the charm. Easy walk to cute downtown Capitola. Super quiet neighborhood and well maintained property. Breakfast was brought to us at exactly the time we had requested. We will be back."

"The staff was very helpful, gave us a lot of suggestions to local food and drinks. The location was brilliant, right next to downtown Carmel and 8min walk to beach. They also serve breakfast to your door around 8 am daily, which is delicious and has balanced ingredients. My only complaint is the soundproofing was poor, you can easily hear the voice in the next room. Fortunately everyone was mostly quiet during my stay."

"This hotel is a quaint little gem. From the moment we walked in, we were instantly comfortable and knew we were in a special place. The website says each room is thoughtfully curated - you can choose your unique room when you book online. Our room was cozy chic with a comfy bed, pillows, a Dyson fan, heated floors in the bathroom - other than being a bit small, the room was great. "Old Victorian with rooms in out buildings. When we checked in we were disappointed that the advertized free parking was not available. The dining room was very attractive and the breakfast food was tasty, but a small portion, compared to other B&B's. The bathroom and one of the bedroom windows were missing curtains. Two of the windows were not attached to their frames, so they were threatening to fall into the room. The bed was comfortable. The decor was nice, but sparse. No chair, no bedside...
