The canal view room was spacious and relaxing, especially after a long week - definitely worth paying the extra. The main shopping street is 5 minutes walk, great location.

My husband wanted to bring me here as he had stayed here on numerous ocassions and said how lovely the rooms were.we we really disappointed withecthecroom it was very small and very tired .on a positive note the staff were all lovely snd friendly

All staff were most helpful, the reception ladies for sorting our parking, the spa gent with our spa / pool experience and the bar and dining staff, a big thank you for making our short stay a very pleasant one. We are sure to return when we have an opportunity.

We had a lovely two day break in room 522 which had a balcony overlooking the canal which was unexpected. Breakfast lovely and staff very nice. Reception staff were very helpful when we booked a pizza, then took receipt of it and delivered it to our door complete with plates and cutlery. Thank you all xx

The Gym and Swimming Pool were good. The rooms seem outdated, get very warm after a shower with limited ventilation. No soap in the bathroom.

Amazing location, staff and facilities. Breakfast was lovely and the friendly staff made it even better. I would like to see a better evening food selection to make it even better.

This property was in a very good location for seeing the old town, and the staff was attentive and friendly. There was only a few items on the menu for room service for vegetarians, but, amazingly, they were all very good.

Overall good hotel. Bit expensive bearing in mind no toiletries or bottled water. Also car parking was additional. Restaurant could do with a spruce up it’s a bit dated. Staff friendly and courteous.
