Checked in on 10/6 after 11 PM, first room there was a bug on the bed, second room the keys didn't work, finally we settled on the third room but were already exhausted. And the 3rd room there was no shampoo but only body gel, lotion and conditioner. I had to get the shampoo downstairs myself which was so odd. Also I am an IHG member, and I didn't get the welcome water during check in. They have the bottled water to me afterwards when I went to get the shampoo for our room. Disappointing.
The room is pretty small but I had stayed in even smaller rooms in Japan so that doesn't really bother me. Be noted though there was no fridge in the room, so They had to bring me a portable one. There were not enough power outlets either so it was hard to charge phones and other electronics. Totally not for business travelers this hotel. For a hotel prices 200-300+ per night, I would expect higher quality.
The services and staff were just so average. The housekeeping lady on the 8th floor never had smiles on her face or said hi to guests. It's not that they are required to do so, but most hotels I have been to, they would smile and greet guests. It's called customer service.
What was worse, on the 2nd night we stayed there, there were yelling and talking dirty bad words right outside our room at 3 AM and didn't stop until after 4 AM. It was horrible! Why people at hotel would let it happen so long without any actions or apology? We could barely sleep that night.
