"Condo was clean, well supplied and comfortable with a wonderful balcony on the lake. Our family had a great time fishing on the dock and all over the lake in our bass boat and caught some bass and a catfish. Jerry, the host has been available and very responsive during our whole trip! This is or 4th vacation here and is our favorite stay at Santee."

"Property manager or owner had condo stocked with the essentials which was great. She was also reachable and responsive when I contacted her and didn't know how to get in--I couldn't access my VRBO account while on the road but luckily I noted her contact info and reached out. Condo is located close to shopping and dining facilities which was great too! I would reserve again the future should I travel that way! :-)"

"Great area, and the house is beautifully decorated and fully stocked for cooking. Good hiking trails and boat rentals. The host responded right away to questions. The patio was not clean, garbage lying around and filthy chair cushions, and two of the three bathrooms were not cleaned. The kitchen stove and fridge were dirty. The host said that it was hard to get cleaners in that area."

"Our reservations were canceled after we had received confirmation notice and instructions on how to enter the property. We were sent a welcome notice from the owner, but later told that the renters in the property wanted to extend their stay, so we were left out in the cold. We ended up having to rent motel rooms while waiting for our credit card to be released after we had been charged for the stay. We ended up in motel rooms for 12 nights instead of a house we had reserved."

"2 TVs in the living room: one didn't work and one only got a few channels. Need to have soft, fluffy towels and a sheet of guidelines that tell what to do when checking out. Strip beds? etc."

"We had the most relaxing trip at Bells Marina & Resort. Our room was clean, and we loved that the decor wasn’t typical generic hotel prints. Beware of the beds! They are so comfortable they practically suck you in. Everything was convenient to our room. The lake was right outside our door, which couldn’t have pleased us more.
