Derbyshire Pet-friendly Hotel

"Service was lovely, on top of what they are doing. Food was amazing and they are always making sure the customers are happy and if there is anything they can do to help the customers, was an absolute delight with my dog, he got lots of attention. The only con was that the rooms are dated and the furniture seems aged but with the new management hopefully this may change. Will definitely return. "

"The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming and were very accommodating when we asked for extra pillows. There is no coffee or tea in room; Only in the lobby. There's always loads available and boiling water too, and as the hotel is so small it's really not a bother to get tea or coffee in the morning or any time in the day! "The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room itself was very nice and the beds were very comfortable! The only 'complaint' would be the cleanliness of the bathroom whih was not good (mould on the vents etc.) Overall, the stay was very nice. "

We booked a family room for two people - we prefer to have two beds when jet lagged & our room was a perfect set up for us (could either be a king or two twins, plus a sofa bed). Our room was spacious and bright and we were actually pleasantly surprised at how roomy the bathroom was, which had a small tub good enough for a soak.
