I was expecting to stay at the Baymount Hotel and later realized A Victory Hotel took over. You can tell they are currently remodeling and trying to make improvements.
They do have a shortage of towels. The bed sheets had a few stains on them and holes. The water for bathing took 20 minutes to get hot in the morning; in the evening however, it took 2 minutes for it to become hot.
The door to the room wasn't as secure as I would like it. The wall had a small hole in it. The mini fridge was not clean. The freezer had mold in it and the fridge didn't get as cold. The microwave in the room worked however it didn't have microwave plate to place food on.
If you choose to stay here, bring your Lysol wipes, disinfecting spray, wall plug-ins, and prepare to clean to get a fresh smelling room.
Overall, the price you pay is what you get. You don't have to pay a deposit so that's a bonus. You have access to a pool and a fitness room.
