"This is one of the best places we have stayed on our travels. It is an old thatched cottage style pub resplendent with some lovely original features. Walking in from the car park we loved the wisteria hung entranceway with outdoor tables and chairs. Our room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. It was clean and comfortable. I must admit if you sleep with the window open the road outside may disturb you but we kept it closed. We ate in the restaurant on the night of our stay and breakfast...

"The food is lovely and the personal great. Servicing of the bedrooms is ‘if you want it, not the norm’. It would be advantageous to change this. Slept well in the comfy bed and liked being close to all village amenities and lovely walks nearby. "

"The room was clean, warm, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite, although we couldn’t find anyone at the bar when we wanted to check in and we couldn’t find a bell. It is an old building and the stairs to our room were quite steep and narrow and quite a lot of them. They allowed us to park in the car park for the two days, although we were only staying the one night."

"I took a chance on the hotel on the basis of the reviews I read and was absolutely delighted that I did. One thing that I found very useful was the fact that it was bed only which gave me the option of either having breakfast or not depending on what I had planned for the day ahead."

"It was my partners birthday and we had an amazing time. We stayed in the Coach House with a hot tub which was a real luxury. We also had a meal in the Bay Tree Restaurant which was outstanding !"

"I think I was expecting it to be more like a hotel than a pub with rooms but thats exactly what is so maybe my bad for not reading fully. The room was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Grear matress and pillows and the toiletries were super cute. My breakfast was amazing!!! "

"Set in a lovely position on the beach with beautiful walks along the coastal path. The staff are brilliant they can’t do enough for you a couple of hiccups were dealt with very quickly and professionally the breakfast’s were very good and Louise was great at looking after us.
