「Great family friendly but luxury concept. Many staff members went above and beyond and were v friendly. some were a little lacking in enthusiasm. We were served plastic straws (not requested) with cokes which I thought was illegal now? Be great if there were more sides (vegetable) options on kids menu. 」

「The view was excellent and the staff was kind, friendly and helpful, especially those working at breakfast restaurant. Room facilities were fair but it's value for it. Overall, very satisfactory. 」

「Location was good for Portland attractions. There was a problem with our room which was quickly sorted with the staff. Its a large old house quite dark and cold in the winter. Probably a better summer venue.」

「Karen and Graham were excellent hosts and the breakfast was a full English one and many other options in the morning. Pretty easy walk from the train station along the seashore promenade to the Guesthouse. We lucked out with 4 sunny days and enjoyed ourselves as many restaurants and eateries in the neighbourhood.」

「Everything about this property was lovely, the decor and garden were beautiful, bed comfy and good bathroom. The owners were warm and welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Nice quiet neighbourhood yet only a short drive to beachfront. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Only one slight criticism was the bedroom was very hot. Otherwise perfect. Definitely one to return to. 」
