"Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

"The location is ideal and walkable to the Old City, Municipal Market, boat tours and many excellent restaurants including Hotel Faro rooftop bar and restaurant. The apartment has a sunny deck overlooking the train stations (noise not an issue) and out to the sea. It s spacious, bright and well equipped. Wash may be hung outside and fry in a day."

"We'll run complex. High quality pools and poolside slumbering. Apartment style with hit and miss kitchen set up so be prepared to purchase salt pepper oil if you want the basics. 5 minutes to the village shops. Yes it's a hill and it is steep but the resort gets you close to the village. There is another road in less steep than the main option if this is your problem. But hey it's once or twice a day and taxi's come to the resort for further a field travel."

"We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet, laid back beach town Luz. Praia de luz was a very short walk away from the apartment and ended up becoming one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well equipped for our stay. An excellent option close to Lagos but outside the tourist area. "

"Quite a large 2bed apartment. All equipment there for our stay. Close to Marina and bars.local supermarket was closed so we used bolt to get around very good.we did however have a problem on the first day which was due to front entrance lock not working,it would have been very helpful if we would have been given code to push button entry which we used for our remaining stay but it all worked out and was very comfortable in apartment."

"After having our breakfast that on Expedia was added for £0 when booking we were handed a €25 bill. When challenging this with the breakfast staff they continually refused to let us speak to reception and they claimed not to understand English or acknowledge the shown booking from Expedia and the card machine was continually shoved under our noses aggressively. Then when attending reception and showing the receptionist and manager how Expedia says breakfast was added for £0 and a short...

"We really enjoyed our vacation at this property in Vilamoura. It was very clean and the location was perfect. It was just a short walk to the lovely marina where there are several restaurants to choose from. We couldn’t have had a better host, Diogo was so helpful and friendly and went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed."
