「We really like the spot on the bayou. It is a very beautiful landscape. The staff was not very helpful and not as friendly as expected. However, the staff on the beach area was very friendly and helpful. It seemed like it was a bother to ask questions on the phone and at the front desk. The room was clean. Not nearly enough towels for 3 people and the soaps were out in the room. 」

「Despite an online prepaid reservation the apparent "manager" of this property turned us away with an assertion that he was the "new owner" and that he did not have a "contract" with the online services. He offered no further explanation and didn't seem to concerned that we had nowhere else to go since Hurricane Michael had limited other options.」
