I chose surf and sand for the first trip I’ve ever put together myself and to say my expectations were exceeded would be an understatement! The vibe of the entire hotel is so cozy and the hang out/beach area behind the hotel is absolutely amazing!! I cried having to leave my home for the last week that’s how amazing it was and you do not break the bank to stay there especially with everything they provide for you! The kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles are FREE to use once you check in and meet with the front desk to sign whatever item you want to use out! 10/10 stars from the staff to the environment. You will not be disappointed staying here! We also walked to the beach everyday from our hotel and it was 10 min or less until we touched the sand each time! Sincerely a young 20 something who lives paycheck to paycheck. This is the place to stay in Pensacola without a doubt!

Lots of little extras that make all the difference. Firepit, pool and private beach with chairs, umbrellas and chaise lounges. Complimentary bicycles, kayaks and paddleboards. Very cute beach decor.

Stayed here last February and loved it so much we came back. Even asked for the same room. The staff is very professional and accommodating. If you're looking for a great experience, please consider giving them a try. Surf & Sand Hotel is really top notch! We will be coming back later this year.

The layout of the property is really great. The rooms were nice and bright with all the appliances one needs whether for just one night or for several. The walk ability around the property is perfect—to get coffee or to the beach or both! The staff and guests were very dog friendly and I would love to stay more nights here in the future.

Didn’t do breakfast. The room was clean needs to be upgraded a little. Hand washing sink water pressure needed to be fix in our room. Need new mattress the one in our room cloths chair need to be replaced. Very over used nasty looking. The from desk people was very friendly the clean up lady was nice also.

This is an amazing place to stay and choosing the right time, for being right on the beach. Wake up in the morning and enjoy a wonderful breakfast enjoy all of the amenities the hotel has at no cost. Go for a bike ride and enjoy the great views everywhere you go. Walk across the street and go take a walk on the beach looking out over the ocean and if you luck as we've had, dolphin swimming along the beach. Real great place to eat just a short walk across the street and enjoy some really good seafood or whatever your hungry for. Take a walk down the pier and enjoy the amazing views. Make your reservation and you won't regret staying at Surf and Sand!!

We loved Surf & Sand!!! The room was great! Staff were very accommodating and friendly. My only real complaint is that the breakfast is very basic and bland. Kat is my favorite employee, she was amazing and very helpful in our stay here. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel!!!!! I highly recommend using the free kayak rentals here it's really calm and fun at the same time! People complain about the sand but it's unavoidable, if your room doesn't have sand everywhere, you didn't enjoy it how you're suppose to.

Really amazing location! Nestled between the bay and the gulf- it’s perfect for whatever water activities you want to enjoy. We were super excited to take advantage of the free kayaks and paddle boards, but unfortunately it was too windy on the night we were there. The pool and fire pit area is gorgeous and the chairs down by the water was the perfect place to watch the sunset. It is an older hotel, but remodeled very nicely.
