Safe but run down being the old city. Proximity to major attractions beats the street cleanliness. It’s on a 2nd or 3rd floor with no elevator. But the rooms is absolutely beautiful.

A restful surprise.
Upon our arrival, it was nighttime and drizzling. The unknown remained as we walked up to their third story hotel located on the top floor of a 3-story apartment building. With the morning, came a sense of relief and great appreciation for this charming 4-room hotel. Decorated in mahogany antiques, which the owners had brought from Spain, we were served breakfast in the heart of the home, the dining room. A fresh plate of sliced papaya, mango, and bananas were followed by eggs and style, a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, and delicious coffee. It was served by English speaking servers, who cared and appreciated our presence. My husband and I booked the larger room, the apartment, which consisted of a small bedroom outfitted with very nice linens, quality pillows and top-notch mattress. The large screen was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was small, yet well-equipped with quality towels. The kitchen had a Keurig coffee maker. Because I drink tea, the servers provided a thermos carafe. The gas stove worked well. We loved hanging out in our own living/dining room, equipped with antique dining table and leather furniture. Two AC units worked perfectly. Besides our stay, email correspondence by the manager, Beatrice, kept us informed on many restaurant reservations and independent walking tours. By the end of our 4 day stay, we felt as if we had been staying in our own home away from home.

Havana Dream was a perfect haven nestled in proximity to everything old Havana. I highly recommend this place, it is small and quaint and lovely and hospitable. The staff from Beatrice the manager down are all so helpful, generous and incredibly kind. I cannot wait to come back!

Loved Havana Dream
At breakfast and after a full hot/humid day exploring Havana, it was a pleasure to meet friends in the common area. Our individual rooms were air conditioned, clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace is an added plus and the staff could not be any more friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Havana Dream.

A lovely dreamy place to stay in Havana
This is a lovely casa particulares in the center of Old Havana. The rooms were very comfortable and they had great air conditioning and all conveniences. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Internet isn't great but that is a problem all over Cuba...

We stayed at Havana Dream last weekend in adjoining rooms with us in one and our two young children in the other. We also had a kitchen/living room area. The space was much bigger than we expected and everything was immaculately clean. There was also an excellent laundry service. The hotel is very centrally located and we were within easy reach of lots of the main attractions in Old Havana. Our host Beatriz was wonderful, spoke amazing English and was very helpful. I would highly recommend Havana Dream to anyone.

Very nice property I recomend it 100 percent, Betty the Host was very helpful, and super nice with me, the only thing that i did not know is that if you are traveling from the U.S none of your bank cards will work there you have absolutely no access to atms or anything with american banks they are blocked by the U.S to Cuba so take a good amount of cash with you. But other than that i fell in love with Cuba, its people are very nice, there is no crime, and the culture is amazing defently coming back.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Old Havana. Everything is walkable and the host is very attentive to your needs. Definitely would stay again. The beds are also very comfortable!!

I was disappointed and false book order. They do not have transport. I paid room that I want to bring my friends in the room. They block my friend. That's why I piss off. The cheap hotel that is not worthy. 👎👎👎

Dear Charles Blackmon, we did provide airport transfer service and you giving and after landing notice did not show up, so our driver was left waiting for your at the airport. You and your male friend booked a double room,at check in you wanted 2 rooms and 2 separate bathrooms, that your reservation did not include. First night wanted to bring in girls to the room that didn’t want to show ID, we warned you that Havana Dream will not accept that kind of behavior and nevertheless you did bring a girl to the room together with your male friend that was staying with you. Next day you wanted to bring in more girls and we refused as the house rules are very clear that we do not accept sexual tourism. We are very specific that everyone entering Havana Dream premises must show prove of ID. It was an awful experience, we have proof of their behavior on our security camara footage, and also written warnings that we will not accept that kind of behavior at Havana Dream. We do not recommend this guests to other hosts in the community. It is sad to have guests like this as we do enjoy hosting and meeting people with different cultures, that can add to our diverse community

Unique is the way Patricia managed the property and helped us with recommendations and guided us through Havana, especially since it was the first time for us being there. The place is really authentic, safe, with a spectacular view over the city centre, and everything is decorated with good taste and attention to detail. Overall, it was indeed perfect due to the manner in which Patricia handled all our requests on what to do, where to eat, what is best to visit, she is really the most valuable person at Havana Dream!

Not a 5 stars hotel
This is not a 5 stars hotel. It is just an apartments with some rooms. No elevator, it is situeted at the three levels of dirty stairs and on a very dirty street. The only good thing about it was a location close to the center. The view from the apartment over the other building roofs scary. The breakfast eggs, fruit, jus and cofee. No pastry, no butter, no cheese, no diary, dry bread. The bed was not king, the bath was so small, not a night table. The TV never worked. No free Internet. It was clean and have good furniture, but this does not make it a 5 stars hotel. We left a day eralier. Never again.

Evidentemente no entendió en concepto de un hotel boutique ….. Somos un hotel Boutique!!! Las 5 estrellas que tenemos nos las han dado los huéspedes a lo largo de todos estos años de Duero trabajo y servicio Las plataformas solo validad las evaluaciones de los huéspedes y otorgan las estrellas …. Todas esas evaluaciones que si valoran nuestro HOTEL BOUTIQUE y sus espacios y ubicación ! En cuanto a las calles se refiere La Habana vieja es patrimonio de la humanidad … Una ciudad de más de 500 años de historia ! Creo que no escogió bien el destino para sus vacaciones …. Ten out ten.
Fantastic stay with Patricia and her team. We stayed for 7 nights, we felt very looked after. The hotel was extremely clean, staff were lovely and really helpful. Patricia helped us become a little street wise and was on hand for everything we needed. The hotel is in a busy vibrant part of town and great location for exploring. Can’t recommend the Havana Dream enough. 10/10

This property was amazing. I was very nercous having never been to cuba and not selecting a large international hotel, but i am glad i did. Breakfast was amazing and made to order daily. The recommendations made by staff were also spot on. The room itself was plenty large with a nice balcony with a view of the capitolo. The place was easy to find and only 3 blocks from the central park, and 2 blocks from the main tourist street. When i return to havana i will stay here again.

Beautifully renovated building. The area is very convenient to walk around old Havana and to the central park and Capitol building. Clean, comfortable, great a/c units. The best part was the people. Patricia was amazing. She has great tips for local restaurants, music, transportation, etc. We highly recommended this place!

Save your money..this standard of ROOM is available for a lot less.This place is not a hotel more of a home stay. I booked for 3 nights and within 15 mins of arrival said I wanted to cancel and have a refund given for the 2 additional night's as the property not as described on website and photos are misleading. BEWARE NO REFUNDS GIVEN .

Staying at Havana Dream hotel isn’t just a regular stay but an experience. Since you book you get personalized services souch as restaurants suggestions and reservations, airport pickup in a classic car , 24 hours staff , breakfast, guided tours etc . Havana Dream is located right in the heart of Old Havana, within walking distance to everything there is to see and visit in the area. Friendly staff and great service! Thumbs up to Patricia, the manager, who was very friendly and eager to guide us during our stay!

One of the best hotels I have stayed. Ever.
Havana Dream is absolutely amazing. The hotel is located in the heart of Havana Vieja and that means it is close to all the main attractions of the city. Patricia, the concierge, knows the city incredibly well and will anticipate your needs. She was an incredible asset during our visit. The rest of the staff are also one of of a kind. Friendly, timely, and always there with a smile. The rooms and shared spaces are lovely. The terrace will give you a 360ºC view of the city including the Capitolio and the Bay. We had an awesome balcony that would look over Obrapia. Excellent place to people watch and have a drink or just decompress. I can't recommend this hotel enough. I would book it over and over again.

It shouldn’t be rated as a 5 start when you look in Expedia, let’s be real. It’s really a Casa particular, not a hotel. Breakfast is too expensive for what is served. Staff are friendly.

It is very sad to hear this comments, specially coming from someone that introduced himself as a travel influencer and ask for an upgrade in exchange for advertising our place. Dor Bokobza delivery lied about everything, we gave him support before and after his arrival, we provide airport transfer, made restaurant reservations, search for flight tickets , we even medically assist him when he came back from Varadero food sick, he enjoyed all his stay and he never left or stay at the Kempinski. It is sad that in this artificial world of appearances is telling all these lies and can be so superficial. His negative description is very far from the reality at Havana Dream , and proof of that is our previous guests reviews, not only in Expedia, we have great , positive reviews in Booking, Airbnb , Hotels.com etc . He was a very rude guest , that mistreated the staff and was very impolite! We hope all this negative comments doesn’t come out of the thought that for being an influencer he was to stay for free at Havana Dream. We do not recommend this person to any other hotels .

Small boutique hotel in the middle of the old part of Havana city, with great access to most the main tourist areas. The place was well appointed with a classic look and amply spaceous layout. The furnishings were well appointed and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly in helping get the most from our stay. All things considered a haven of calm in a bustling city.

It was a very nice place with an amazing view. We had problems with our original booking but the host did everything she could to find a solution and to help and we could stay in this place and it was the best place with an amazing view! Surpreendente, mas não para idosos
O local é uma verdadeira ótima surpresa devido às condições da sua localização, que são precárias para quem não entende que está, literalmente, na cidade velha de Havana. Dentro,tudo muito limpo, bem decorado e confortável, com atendimento excelente das camareiras. Único ponto que não entendemos e achamos meio inseguro foi a não conferência de passaporte na chegada. Outro ponto de melhoria é a cobrança de 2 dólares por hora do Wi-Fi, o que foi uma surpresa negativa. Assim como, não indico para idosos ou pessoas com dificuldade de locomoção, uma vez que, para ter acesso ao hotel Boutique, é necessário subir muitas escadas e íngremes, inclusive com as malas.

dans le centre, propre mais avec des inconvénients
Installé dans le vieux la Havane, rue très sale et peu avenante mais les commerces sont à proximité. Les habitations sont correctes et assez grandes, il y a clim et eau chaude, tv avec 3 channels... mais l'accès à " l'hostal" est compliqué car en étage avec de grandes marches et étroit, pas facile avec des valises, absolument impossible pour des personnes agées ou avec des difficultés physiques... Accueil agréable et l'équipe essaye de faire au mieux pour vous aider, obtenir du wifi est compliqué avec un système qu'il fait sans arrêt recharger et demander à l'accueil. 0 prix légèrement supérieur, pour affaire, je choisirais manzana ou royalton.

Señor Loic …. Tristemente no podemos arreglar las calles de un barrio o un país … Podemos controlar lo que pasa en nuestro Hotel Boutique! Como bien usted dice en su evaluación …. Todo funcionaba perfectamente … Y haciendo mias sus letras … Nuestro equipo se esforzó para hacer de su estancia algo mágico … Como por ejemplo tener la profesionalidad y los detalles que tuvimos con usted … Incluyendo el cambio de toda la ropa de cama antes que llegara su FAMILIA CON SOLO UN DÍA DE USO !!! ENTIENDE LOS DETALLES….. verdad ??? En cuanto a las escaleras … Tenemos claramente puesto en nuestro anuncio que no tenemos elevador … Pero no somos los únicos en Cuba el 95% de los edificios no los tienen …. Por otro lado y para concluir … Estamos seguro que en esos hoteles que menciona no habría podido disfrutar de su primera noche como loHizo con nosotros …. verdad ???
