"Upon entering the hotel, the staff was friendly and courteous. It smelled like they had just got done cleaning the place. I stayed in an all-girls 4-bed dorm on the 4th floor. The room met the description. Overall, it was in good shape. Maybe a little chipped paint on the ceiling but I am not in Chicago to stare at the walls and ceiling all day. The bedding and towels did not have any stains, and were obviously freshly laundered. There was room under the bunk for me to store my carry-on sized...

"The room was large with nice bathroom and closet. The mattress and pillows were great! Close to the zoo and a bus stop. We walked all over including to the art museum, beach, Magnificent Mile and a concert venue ballroom. The air conditioner is a little loud and some strong deodorizer in the hallway was not good but I would stay again. "
