"The property was pretty central, walking distance to eateries and shops, good parking. Stuart was very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was your choice, plentiful, freshly cooked and my room was spotless, cosy bed and hot shower. I liked it a lot."

Pub has local ales on hand-pull. Spotless clean rooms with daily maid service. Friendly and competent staff. Note that this establishment is located in a residential neighborhood, so no other stores nearby. "

"A cosy sea front hotel above a pub. Room 404 had superb bay window for admiring the view of the beach and sea across to The Spinaker Tower. The room is bright ,warm plenty of lights, mirrors and storage. A few things are a bit tired, curtains don't close properly, chest of drawers damaged and sink worn but comfortable bed and efficient shower over bath .Friendly staff and guest entrance when staff not on duty. Good value ."

"Clean and comfortable , good size room in a convenient area for trains and buses. Not far to walk to old village or seafront. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Paul was friendly and helpful, recommending places to eat in the evening . "

"The Richmond was quiet and restful, which was what we were looking for. The room was large and airy, comfortably furnished with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with plenty of choice. The owners were friendly and helpful, keen that we enjoy our stay. We would be very happy to stay there again. We were sad that this lovely couple, working hard and doing a great job, have had to take abuse from unreasonable people who expect the service of a 5* hotel from B & B...

"We had the family room which is a self contained place with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen-dining area, there was lots of room and privacy. It was clean and tidy. It’s right on the Coastal Path so it was perfect for us on a walking holiday."

Other gussts had good ideas/suggestions too as to what was happening in the area for free too, but was too late for us as we were leaving after a 2 night stay. Bed very comfortable. Maybe just a bit of updating in decor needed, but otherwise, yes we would stay again."

"Jo and Andy made us feel so welcome, great communication. Andy gave us a map of the area and marked the map for us, according to our interests. The room was excellent, the jellybeans a nice touch. A great bathroom and super sleep in bed. For big tea drinkers like us, we actually had enough tea and milk! Amazing. Breakfast was made to order by Jo, with a pre option of fruit and end option of home made take away pastries. We would have stayed another night but were committed to a wedding. If we...
