This hotel is truly horrible place I ever stayed. I was hit by hotel Clark. When I checked out on 3/11/2019 at 7:00. This Clark was sleeping and I told him to check out but he ignored me for long time. And I kept asking him to process my check out( refunding deposit). In the end the Clark was mad at me and hit me. I will report this battery to police. This hotel is worst hotel in the world.

Expedia already charge tax and fee but they still charge $198 hk for service fee and $100 hk deposite Towel are too stinky and pillows are smell vey bad, cockroaches in the room, bathroom door can not closed. Not recommended to anybody

Stinky and crowded especially the elevator. They did not change the cover of bed and the blanket. No towel and over all poor in facilities and customer service.

The worst place that I ever seen in Hong Kong.Dirty,crowded with people and complicated place totally different where is online advertised.The room was tiny even a luggage will block the way out.The mattress like single bed size,two people squeezed uncomfortable.Unpleasant to stay so I checked out the next day.

the price paid is also very small less than 500 hkd as per the room in hong kong is very small next time please book family enough spacious with 2 double beds

Miserable experience, avoid Chungking mansions
First of all this is kind of a ghetto area. Not just the hostel, but the entire building it's in is dirty and grimy. There are lots of people harassing you and trying to sell you something, which never happened to me anywhere else in Hong Kong. The shower never had hot water and was always frigid, making it basically unusable, and after the toilet paper ran out on the first day, the staff didn't replace it entire time I was there. The room is very cramped with little room for your belongings. They have lock boxes for your belongings but the combination displays in a very obvious way every time you use it, which is not very confidence inspiring. The only good thing I can say is that the beds are clean and you get an actual mattress, not a board. Do not recommend

Budget in the city
Budget hostel. Staff was nice, but the room we received was not; there was still business in the toilet and bogeys on the wall. However, AC and Wi-Fi was available and our room had a window. I also liked the bed; it was a soft one for a change! If you choose to stay here with someone, make sure that you are fine with being close together, 8 square meters is SMALL! No "hostel-life" with backpackers etc. The setting wasn't the most comfortable. Would recommend this hostel for people that doesn't care too much were they sleep, as long they get a bed in the city (great location, MTR just outside the building!) Street view=backyard/backside of the building, no view of the city other than the building complex we lived in.

Very dirty and not kept well.
I wouldn't recommend this hostel at all, very dirty and was not comfortable at all. Stuffy, dirty and took forever to take the take the elevator. The only good thing about this place is the location as it is right on Nathan RD. Other than that, I would not recommend any one to stay at this place!

I booked this place knowing it was not going to be great, since I only needed a cheap place to stay for one night. It was minimally acceptable, which is not necessarily a bad thing since there are people like me with very low bars and who need it for only a short time. But I would not want to stay for more than a night. The bed was clean. The bathroom was barely ok. The staff were nice. The other guests were quiet. Sort of hard to find the place, since it is in a giant building mixed with lots of other hostels and other shops.

If you want to experience living in asia
If you want to see what it's like to live in a crappy apartment in Asia stay here. I'd pay the 20 bucks more and stay in your own room because the dorms are rough. We ran out of toilet paper not that that mattered because the last 2 days the toilet didn't work. When you go down into the "mansion" below people will constantly try to sell you watches, suits or hash. But it's cheap

Great price. Nice staff.
I originally booked a different hotel on a different website, and it wouldn't work with my card. They canceled my reservation and I booked this place last minute, literally the night I was going to be there. The staff didn't get my confirmation till the following morning, but they were very accommodating the night I arrived. I meant to write their names here, but unfortunately I lost them. Regardless, it was a positive experience.

Ok if you are on a budget.
Ok little place. If you are looking for a budget room in an expensive place like HK then this can work. The location in Kowloon is great. However, the Chungking Mansion is a dump. Decent stay.

Nice Hotel
It is a nice hotel, very cheap and efficient for a few days to stay the night at. The customer service was good, if you asked they would help you out. The only bad part is really the location in which the hotel is in. It is a pain to get to the hotel.

Convenient, Fantastic service
The room was smaller than the pictures led me to believe and the building is dated in condition. that aside the room was air conditioned (given the temperature outside this was a lifesaver) and a comfortable place to crash after a long day. The staff were super friendly and happy to help. A man named Harry helped me with public transport info, carried my bags for me and allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel on my last day at no extra charge as I had 9 hours between check out and leaving for the airport. He even offered to walk me to the bus stop to make sure I got on safe. Fantastic service and really made the difference to my stay. Keep up the good work!

Preet, Sherie, and John are the Best
I was pleased to meet some of the nicest people like Preet, a nice guy willing to help anytime. he was available most of the time to help me as a friend .I would recommend that one day Preet will have his chance in a better position!! Sherie was a great lady who made my stay much pleasant and easier . John who speaks the local language helped me with some phone calls to the airlines company .finally , I do not want forget Garry, Cristy and Keven. See you all next year in my next visit Moustafa Aladham

Two nights in Hong Kong...this hotel is in the main budget hotel area in the city. The location is fine--close to MTR and easy to navigate to and from the airport via Bus A21. The room is tiny but fairly clean...Hong Kong is no subtle bustle.

Perfect for a drinking holiday!
If all you are looking for is a room to leave your bags, a bed and a shower, this is perfect. No windows, upstairs from a sketchy Indian market (but perfectly safe!) and good air con. Right on Nathan Rd, Tsim Sha Tsui, in the heart of the city! For a boys holiday, excellent. Not recommended for couples. Get a single room. Room size is that of a double bed... no more.

Worst hotel experience ever
Forstly it is a hostel, not hotel. When we arrived, staff was rude and unwelcoming. Room was the size of bed from wall to wall and the same in width. Whole building and rooms smell of curry to the extent my wife had difficulty breathing. When i saw an empty room next to ours, which had a little more space, I went to reception to ask if we could move in there, receptionist yelled at me and a couple of guys that were with him pushed me out of reception area. If you don't want your holiday ruined, don't book this hostel. Plenty of other good places to stay there at the same price.
