The staff were so friendly and helpful when we asked questions. They spoke English very well. We arrived early and they looked after our luggage so we could go out. When we got back the luggage was in the room ready for us. Fantastic service and a bonus … great coffee in foyer!

It is out of the way, quiet and close to the train and bus station. Good food plentiful nearby. The room could have used a table and a couple of chairs, and there was a lack of dishes in the kitchen. It's a little quirky, but that's in it's favor after all the western cookie cutter hotels. A strong recommendation to stay here

This property is close to Kyoto Station, which made it very handy to get around and visit the sites in Kyoto. The in-room kitchen and washing machine was very helpful during my stay. Beautiful property and wonderful rooms. In a quiet alleyway which meant no loud road noises at night.
