"A good location for us to go to a funeral at Bakersfield Natl. Cemetery. The hotel itself seemed newer, in nice condition and very clean. Comfortable firm bed with refrig and little coffee maker no microwave. Breakfast was a typical Hampden Inn with small omelette, potatoes & sausages, waffles and etc. Front Desk staff was very helpful & friendly. "

"Property wasn't equipped very well for a long-term stay. Had to buy my own cuttlery. Not a very soundproof room.(could hear people talking in the other part of the house that was rented and the food smell from cooking coming through the vents was very nauseous! Had to keep the patio door open at times to let the smell out."

"We celebrated my 50th birthday at this house and it was the most amazing experience! The house was beautiful, the pool was perfect and the lake was awesome! We had some difficulty having communication with the property management, but through it all it all worked out and they were very accommodating.
