"Arrived 2am after a looooooong flight. Email with directions made finding Check Inn easy, 24 hour front desk was super friendly and efficient, room was comfortable. Could've done with a reading light if I was staying longer, but take a head torch. Bathroom was clean, had hot water at good pressure, no issues. Free tea/coffee downstairs in the comfy shared space is a nice touch and I could leave my bag there for free after checking out to explore HK for the day. Thanks Check Inn! "

"The property is tucked away in a huge office block in the heart of Kowloon. It is very cramped as is the whole building but it's clean and couldn't be in a better location, right in the heart of Kowloon, a short walk from the metro and ferry. Overall, reasonable value for money."

"I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. So I stayed here again. I stayed during the May holiday this time, which meant the price was more than $44 a night, but it was still a bargain. "Very clean, friendly, and helpful staff. The only thing I have to comment on is the location of this property which creates inconveniences. There is no MTR nearby, shuttle bus does not run for the whole day - the service stops between 10am & 4pm. "
