Excellent hotel in terms of location, atmosphere and quality of rooms. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice to cater for all and everything is fresh and of a very high quality - the smoothies are excellent and the pastries outstanding. One point, and it’s only a very minor one, the king bed in a double room is actually two beds pouches next to each other. Although this is quite common in hotels Europe, I thought I had checked in advance and was told it wouldn’t be the case. When we checked in, I discovered that some superior rooms have one big bed but I couldn’t upgrade as they were all taken. Staff was amazing and provided a topper which made so much better, so happy days. I highly recommend this property if you’re in Munich, especially for a short weekend as you’ll have everything at your door step and it’s very well linked to public transport.

Excellent accommodations. If you are looking for less noise you may want to avoid a room looking over Marienplatz as it can get quite rowdy and noisy with crowds in the street.

A little gem right in the middle of Munich. The staff were so friendly. The food was excellent and the room comfortable at night. It was so quiet. I could not believe I was in the middle of old town. Munich already have plans to return.

This hotel is in a great location, right near the markets and old town. Breakfast was the best we had on the entire trip. They have parking available but be sure to make a reservation. The drain in my shower was clogged, causing water to run out into the bathroom and room. Maintenance person was rather rude and short tempered, but front desk /reception staff were apologetic and helpful.

Hotel Schlicker was a very nice property for our stay in Munich. Close to Marienplatz, which is where the transportation is, making it easy to take trips within or outside of the city. Staff was very pleasant and always greeted us when we walked in. Breakfast was also very plentiful for the European breakfast. I would stay here again on my next visit to Munich and would recommend the same for anybody else.
