This was my first visit to the newly renovated British Colonial Hotel. My check-in process was seamless with no issues. Thomas, at the front desk was delightfully pleasant who explained the policies of the Hotel. The hotel was clean with very friendly cheerful employees. It felt like coming home. My room was bright, clean and comfortably spacious for my week visit. Housekeeping made sure to have my room stocked everyday so I never had to request any more items. I’m not crazy about the no cash policy but I guess that’s the trend anymore. I can’t wait to return.

Our room wasn’t available for check in when we arrived. We didn’t get to go to the room until 9pm. The room was 78 degrees and we couldn’t cool it down. Even after calling down and asking for someone to come check they said it was working great. It’s a beautiful property but we didn’t have the best experience There was dried blood on the bathroom floor.
