"I have stayed at this hostel many times but always before with other people-= so it was especially great to have a room to myself - with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was good and coffee was too .The last time i stayed the road outside was being converted for the tram lines-but now that the tram runs almost to the door from Waverley station and the airport it is excellent. The room was clean modern and a lot better than the hotel I stayed in for the rest...

"This hotel is perfectly located near the train station and walkable to plenty of city center sites, including the Edinburgh Castle. Our triple room even had a porthole window! Everything seemed recently renovated and the staff was very helpful. We appreciated being able to store luggage while awaiting check in time."
