I was very shocked to see the pile up of vehicles out front of the hotel. Our check in was relatively quick but i was told there would be a $120 hold on my card that would be returned at check out. I was chrcking my statement two days later and this hold is still reflected as charged on my account not pending. I am currently on hold (for over 10 minutes now) waiting to speak with someone about the matter. The rooms were at least clean. Bathroom was clean and stocked for towels and toiletries. We had to turn our fridge on (maybe trying to save energy?). The breakfast in the morning was quite pleasant but you had to wait by a door to get egg and sausage. I only figured this out because i saw someone else doing it or else we would have missed out. Check out was also quick and the staff was friendly. I main reason we will not stay here (this specifoc property and LaQuinta in general) again is #1 Falsely being charged the "holding fee" and #2, the condition of the exterior of the property. I am STILL on hold and started his review AFTER calling in. Almost 15 minutes with no one to speak with. I try to be understandable. Maybe they are checking people in bit at least check back with me and acknowledge my wait.

Disheveled property. Hard to believe it’s operating in such a state. The street outside the property are lined with homeless that approach you demanding money. I made it a few steps outside the property to try and make it half a block to the store but turned around quickly and had to use Uber Eats. The pool looked like a bacteria filled swamp. Hot tub was empty and ribboned off. Lobby nor hallways are air conditioned. “Breakfast” area was entirely too small. And if you wanted the eggs or meat selection you had to stand by the back door of the eating area and wait for the ladies to finish their conversation so they noticed you and gave you one serving. Coffee during breakfast hours was refilled. Supposed to be 24hours. It was not. Found out the hard way the airport shuttle service has been discontinued even though they haven’t updated their website. Sign was up in the lobby. A little too late when you’re counting on it and coming from out of country. Wifi was shut off for the second day I was there causing me to roam my phone. I’ll blame myself for not having house keeping on the first day. I put the sign out to have a shower. Did not receive housekeeping the second day. On the third day someone knocked and asked if I wanted housekeeping. I said yes. Was told they’d be by in an hour. I left the room and when i retired the bed was made, towels refreshed. Due to not having 2 days of housekeeping, the garbages were over flowed and they only took away what was in the can.

The pictures they use for the hotel are fake, check google maps street view to really see it. The only good thing about the place was the staff, they were very helpful and accommodating. Outside the gates are squatters and homeless. My advice: go somewhere else.

1) bathroom tap leaking 2) there is homelessness all around the property 3) breakfast distribution at the property is hopeless. The staff is unable to manage the guests at breakfast area. Scrambled eggs and sausage is distributed secretly and only lucky ones get a plate. Hopelessly poorest quality breakfast. Truly disappointing breakfast. Truly hopeless. 😡
