"We had a wonderful time at this farmhouse and it was all we imagined. The home was beautiful and well maintained. Very spacious for the four of us. The hosts are lovely people who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The area has several great places to visit such as the thatched roof village, a special soba restaurant and the sake brewery. The scenery is spectacular. Highly recommend!!"

"Best part if Japan trip. I found best way to reach hideo is through whats app. He speaks very good english. It is off beaten path. About 1hr buss ride from kyoto station.it is a beautiful scenic route.There is a buss that will take you directly there from kyoto station. Just ask information office if you feel lost. "If you are looking for a traditional ryokan and a more remote area, this is the perfect place. Although it is about 45 mins from Kyoto train station, you will not be disappointed. Upon arrival, we were immediatelty greeted by the staff and welcomed with matcha tea while our bags were taken to our rooms. The rooms were very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room featured a private onsen overlooking the mountains. It was absolutely breathtaking. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing! We stayed one night and spent the next morning walking around the small town which was quite quaint and adorable. We would definitely stay here again!"
