The resort was nice. Check-in was really long, but the staff was friendly. Our room overlooked a stunning abandoned hotel glittering with fresh graffiti and trash.

Only negative out of the way first. Unless you’ve a two bedroom suite your room will have a connecting door. You will hear every word, cough and everything from your neighbors. It’s as if they are in the room with you. It’s only because they were speaking Spanish that I didn’t join in the conversation from my bed. That out of the way it’s a nice budget hotel form Universal. I actually like it more than more exotics ones like Aventura. The staff were all super friendly and nice to the guests. The grouchy miserable man at the pool bar was the only exception. They have row very large pools that are shallow all over but this is a family resort. The pool area for tower 1 I was using was very relaxing and a great place to kick back and read a good. The room was comfortable and the bed was easy to sleep in. I used white noise to help me avoid noise. I Will stay here again, maybe with a friend and get a suite so that the noise is no issue. Great bus service to the parks too! Food was mixed, you can make tourself a very nice salad, pizza was good, fired chicken was awful, dry and overcooked. I do like this hotel, it’s very large so you may have a good walk to your room from the lobby!!
