The property was beautiful and the golf cart train was nice and convenient to get to and from places. It’s a good family resort overall. Food and drink wise it could be better. The only restaurants that were decent were the Brazilian and Asian restaurants. The sports bar was okay for more western kinds of food. The food market buffet was disappointing, but the breakfast was good and worth stuffing yourself until you get hungry for dinner. My friend enjoyed the pool entertainment and animation, she looked forward to it everyday. It was decent, but nothing mind blowing or spectacular. There was live music every night in the lobby which was a nice vibe. The resort had flamingos and iguanas and peacocks around the property so it was nice to see them casually every day. The ice cream shop and cafe were great treats to end the night. I recommend the milk tea ice cream and trying the frappuccinos in the cafe. The staff and service overall was good. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. If you plan to do laundry you will have to put your laundry in a plastic bag provided in the room and they will do it for you. I just brought my own laundry bar soap and did my own laundry and dried them outside in the balcony. Overall the resort was okay, but I don’t think I’d come back and would rather spend extra money at a nicer resort with better food.

The property and beach are beautiful. We did not like that food. It was always either overcooked, or cold. The food also lacked flavor. Some staff were so nice and helpful and other staff looked miserable and would give you a dirty look if you asked them for something. Something as simple as asking for water, if it wasn’t their table they just wouldn’t bring it. We started looking for tables that were served by Santos, he had high energy and was so happy to help. Yahaira at the front desk was also extremely helpful and kind.

Resort is gorgeous, well-kept. Pools and beaches were clean and even though the resort seemed busy, there were always chairs to be found at the beach and pools. We were traveling with our 8 year old son; he enjoyed the kids pool and water park but the offerings at the Kids Club were a little too young for him--on the day he went there he mostly just watched movies in the TV room. Wifi was spotty, rooms were great--cold A/C and comfy beds. Food at buffets was a little meh and sometimes not up to temp. Restaurant foods were great and we were able to get reservations easily on the "app" (website). Nightly entertainment was very good. Staff allowed us to use the Teen Club to play pool and table soccer with our son, so we didn't have to pay at the Sports Bar.

Pools very good (all options,1 kids, 1 quieter, 1 with wet bar and music. Night shoes very very good. Restaurants good when a la cart (they are included and by theme), BUFFET NOT VERY GOOD BUT ACCEPTABLE, carts for inteenal transportation not food due to not enough at all (a problem). People in DR are nice people but infortunati they don't show it at work, meaning they are alle and don't really up to solve problems. The parks and nature at the hotel AWESOME, there are swans, peacocks, iguanas... very beautiful
