"We really liked staying at this property! We stayed over the week of Thanksgiving to attend dinner at the home of nearby family. We had 6 adults and 2 teens ranging 12-80 and there was adequate space for everyone. It was also easily accessible for 3 seniors, one of which is completely blind. The house is extremely clean, well furnished, and has comfortable bedding and a well-stocked kitchen. The 3 levels gave us all space. I can see that this would be a fantastic place for a summer stay with the outdoor spaces and the lake. However, the house doesn't have hot tub as the listing states and the owner requests that you take showers, not baths, even though it does have a tub. The only negative for me was the lack of transparency about having to conserve water due to there being a septic or black water tank. I feel like this should be clearly stated in the listing. I have never encountered this in renting homes many places, including drought states, like California. We only stayed 4 nights in November, so it wasn't a problem for us. However, if I were planning to stay there a week in the summer I would expect to be able to do a couple loads of laundry per day of towels and swimsuits for hygienic purposes. The listing states there is a washer and dryer, but doesn't mention that personal laundry is limited. I only found that out after booking. For a long weekend or if you don't mind the water limitations this is an outstanding,fantastic rental. I would definitely stay there again!"
