The resort is great; however second night i had no hot water in my room. I did get an upgraded room the same day Beach area: quiet, private beach that is swimable, but too much grass near shore.

Nectar was amazing. Make sure you make reservations. For nicer restaurants. The hotel is beautiful. Service was terrible. Waited at every bar even after tipping extra. They dont even acknowledge you. We went off property more than we planned due to slow non existing service at the bars. House keeping was a joke. Would come in take dirty towels but the same glass was on the desk from check in to check out. Bed wasnt made every day. There was a spill outside our door that was never cleaned. The rain finally got it. They also left a dirty cleaning rag on our suitcase. Expected better quality. The room was huge and shower was great. We didnt have liquid soap for 2 days had to call the front desk. It was empty when we got there. Will try the other resort in town the next time. Too bad as it was beautiful

Beautiful and quiet , good if you want to relax and not really get out of the resort. If you like partying and adventure, I don’t really recommend it. Other than that, it’s a nice place to stay at.

I’ll start this review off with the good in saying this place is absolutely beautiful and the pictures don’t capture how Beautiful it really is. However the good ends right there. 1. It’s not all inclusive fair but if you’re thinking food/drinks will be cheap/affordable since your spending so much on the stay think again. Every meal you eat will be at least $35 and you’ll be lucky to get a cocktail for less than $20 plus the added gratuity and a bunch of other random fees they tack on to each bill. 2. They market “breakfast included” which is completely false. It is not included for everyone only those who choose the “breakfast included add on” which means it’s not free/included if I have to pay for the add on. 3. The drinks are WEAK!! Do yourself a favor get your own bottles the drinks are weak and over priced. 4. They give you a free drink voucher when you check in seems nice! What they don’t tell you is that only qualifies for basic drinks, beer, wine margaritas etc. don’t expect to get any top shelf or even a simple espresso martini with the free drink voucher. Lastly this place just does the bare minimum as far as entertainment. a 35 minute drive $60 Uber to San Juan where all the fun is. But if you decide you want to stay on the resort and not go to San Juan the most you can expect is a live DJ playing in the lobby bar for a few hours. Bare minimum effort as far as on resort entertainment options. It is beautiful with nice pools great rooms and beach lots of mosquitos

I had to be switched rooms on my third night due to be bug bites all over myself. The hotel rushed me to the emergency room after the security guard took pictures of my body with all of the marks and confirmed. She thought it was bedbug bites as well, they made a report but did not tell the staff. They moved us across the hall and we did not see anyone go into inspect nor did they tape off the room as requested by the doctor. I was told the staff would take me to get my medicine but when contacting them no one knew what was going on nor had been told about the situation. It was a ton of miscommunication and I spent my last two days with bed bug bites in my room praying to die due to the pain and how uncomfortable I felt.
