Santee Hotel with Pool

"The front desk young lady was friendly and polite even at midnight. The room was clean. The kitchen staff were nice and came out to speak to the guest. This was a refreshing experience and we have saved the location for our next trip."

"Beds were very comfortable, i only chose this motel because it had a pool, come to find out, it wasn't open yet for the season. This was very disappointing. The motel rooms were very clean though and well kept. "

"Room #1 - was a little disappointing as it was not totally smoke free. Cigarette smoke could be smelled as soon as you entered. Once the bathroom exhaust fan & A/C fan came on the smoke was stronger. There were also items that were broken or hanging off the wall. Then came a group of people associating near the room, smoking. I then requested to be moved. Room # 2 was excellent no odors, very clean and comfortable. I was very pleased. Staff was professional and helpful. "
