"Reception Staff Caitlin was extremely help full. The room assigned to us was up 2 flights of stairs. This was not acceptable as we have a dog who needs have a walk at night. To ensure no mess in room. Caitlin found a ground floor room which was great. Cheryl the staff manager was very helpful when we went for breakfast. The hotel is a golf club excellent accommodation and very quite. Nearby there are some follies which I highly recommend for a visit."

The room was very comfortable - the only tiny niggle being the lack of power sockets next to the bed, meaning we couldn't charge our phones AND have them on our bedside tables overnight. A good breakfast, with friendly service, and for the eco-friendliness touch, all the supplied toiletries were plastic-free, as were the breakfast jams. The area was quiet overnight and extremely well placed for the heart of the town."

"Our first visit here and definitely won’t be the last. It is an amazing place - friendly helpful staff, a beautiful clean room and the decor is outstanding. The chef is a credit to the hotel and the grounds are just waiting to be explored. We have travelled extensively both in the UK and abroad and can honestly say it is the best hotel we’ve stayed at. Nothing more to say except to highly recommend it. "
