Sichuan Adventure Sport Hotel

"It’s a bit off the normal tracks of Chengdu city center . There was not much around. Mostly were residential areas. I went there for business and having difficulty to find restaurants and other facilities. The entrance was under refurbishment, so both me and the taxi driver had a hard time to find the hotel. "

"Great common area. Double room was pretty clean and the staff dropped in fresh bottles of water everyday. Unfortunately I the room didn't have any windows and bathroom smelled really bad (probably from mould) so had to keep the door shut the whole time. Staff were helpful in arranging shuttle to airport. This is a fine budget place for a few nights."

"Hotel is for those on a budget. Breakfast is not amazing and very very simple. Only plain porridge and some bread rolls and some vegetables. No boiling kettle in room and no tea or coffee in room. No bottled water in room. Restaurants are just opposite the hotel. Public transport is not easy. Only taxis / cabs there and you need to know how to speak Chinese too. Small hotel with not much to offer."

"Close to airport room kind of shabby looked like mold on some of the walls but during my stay there was what appeared to be renovations being made? Looked as though they were installing new wall board in the rooms? Covering up the mold? price was ok."

"We stayed 1 night in early November. We liked the location. Very close to entrance of the park - walking distance to restaurants, shops, and bus station. It feels like a resort with sprawling buildings, lots of trees, river running through it. The free breakfast was nice in a very big dining room.
