For the price expedia charged, which was averagely 500 plus per night, i felt the only saving grace was the pool. The breakfast spread was so so, and waited by staff who "could not bring themselves to smile" or even respond to guests like me, who initially were happily greeting them??? No eye contact, clearing used cutleries (so when guests come back with new dishes, they had to go look for new cutleries since the staff were hardly around to provide new ones)
Only 1 person at Ginger is very much worthy of mention and that was the Egg station chef today (Saturday) morning. An elderly and super friendly, approachable and welcoming gentleman. A Stark contrast to Yesterday's (Friday) a senior lady whom i literally had to coerce a response from, like a complete reversal of roles there. The guest was like a staff being nice to them who were really like unfriendly guests. I honestly felt like i was back at work myself while on a staycation.
