1. The room temperature controls were not working right. I reserved with Marriot specifically b/c I need this now so didn't look at lower-class places. So room temperature would only be too hot or too cold.
2. Breakfast - this was a poor showing for a chain built on good food initially. Even holiday inn express has a better fare, so I just skipped it and went to McDonalds.
It was fantastic Miss Chrissy at the front desk for the evening shift checked us in and she even gave our two fur babies a treat. Definitely going to be staying there again everybody was so nice and polite and the breakfast was wonderful.
Exceptional staff, grounds and facilities. A great value stay. Exceeded our expectations.

Not being extra but the front receptionist on Sunday needed a box of crayons and a helmet. She was very extra and overe exaggerated the availability of rooms. As she stated "its like having 7 kids and nobody wants to listen". Other than her and a cracked window and Monday morning at 8 am pressure washing from a scissor lift that had a loud back up alarm, its a great place to stay.

It would have been nice to know about the $75/night pet fee that wasn’t mentioned or charged when booking through Expedia. Had I known in advance, I could have stayed elsewhere at a much better rate. I didn’t think that was fair at all, but couldn’t argue at midnight after driving all day. I will call ahead and ask before booking in the future. $75 is a little high for one night.

Thermostat in our room seemed not to work, the only blemish in a very comfortable stay. Recommended unreservedly for staff, cleanliness, convenience, price vs value.
