"We had a lovely stay in a balcony room overlooking the fabulous harbour. We had everything we needed including robes, slippers and a really comfy bed. The cleaning staff were lovely and always had a warm smile and said hello. Unfortunately the staff on reception seemed to keep their heads down or talk amongst themselves as we went in and out of the hotel. Also, we went to sit outside to have a drink and soak up the sun for an hour and the bar staff in The Jetty informed us that they don't serve...

"Property was lovely, staff kind and room was immaculate. However, they refused to allow us to check in before 3 pm, even though we arrived after an overnight flight at 10 am. I offered to pay for early checkin and they said no rooms were cleaned. We were exhausted and had to wait in the lobby for hours, along with several other guests in the same situation. This hotel is used by many cruise passengers who are coming from overseas so they must realize their guests will arrive after long flights....

"Hotel was beautiful, and very clean staff were great and friendly, very polite Food was fresh and plentiful It was a very busy night with a wedding going on and lots of cruise passengers, but service was still spot on Only little complaint if you can call it that was burn stains in the carpet in the bedroom, it had been covered by the waste bin but it didnt affect the overall break Will definitely be retruning for another stay "

"Stay OK, I usually stay here, more out of habit now (better the devil you know)... but a few tips. 1. room position is important. No aircond, so May to Septmeber can be hot. Make sure you're on the East carpark side, other side is much hotter. Also, make sure you're away from the lifts (noisy talking lifts, noisy people... the further you are south the less people walk by shouting, and bratty children). 2. Carpark now running at 90% capacity minimum... Often no parking after you have paid...

"We had a great stay at Bartley Lodge after visiting Peppa Pig world inside Paultons Park Family of four: two adults and two kids age 3 and 7 - both autistic so they are loud and a bit restless waiting, but we felt welcome and comfortable during our stay. The lady managing the dining room brought them colours and books for the table to play with as the conservatory had less WiFi signal for watching cartoons. Great breakfast options really filling and fresh including the usual familiar cereal...
