“As travelers from Australia, we decided on a self contained old worker's cottage as a change from the ordinary motels. We were not disappointed. Although small ( or compact ), the house came with the mod cons we required. Whether summer holidaying or like us, travelling about Cornwall, the house is central to beaches, shops, transport and restaurants and tourist spots.”

“We loved our stay here. The house was wonderful and had everything you could possibly need. Very spacious and super comfortable with a stunning view of the bay from the rear. “We had a wonderful week staying in this apartment. A great location for exploring this corner of Cornwall and easy access to St Ives, without the challenge of finding somewhere to park! The views were unbeatable ! We loved having breakfast on the balcony or sitting in the garden, watching the waves rolling in. “As a family we absolutely adore St Ives and have been visiting for over ten years in all seasons. To find accommodation as lovely as this cottage made our stay even more brilliant. We checked in very easily and were greeted with a clean and lovely cottage (& a cute welcome basket of goodies) The decor and furnishings were lovely with a real Cornish feel. We have a dog and have previously stayed in houses to find the smell of the previous visitors to still be lingering... We were really pleased……

“During the booking and information gathering stage Alan Hocking was very helpful and responsive. The property description (images and words) is thorough and accurate; so no surprises on arrival. As the living area (combined dining room, lounge, kitchen) is quite small, it would have been tempting for the owner to enhance the image to make it look bigger; he hasn't so what you see is what you get. It should be noted that if guests intend to prepare substantial meals, there is minimal food……
