「On arrival reception was efficient but not overly friendly. We had a pleasant room overlooking the well kept golf course. Cleanliness in the room was good but a little extra attention in the bathroom needed; dirt around plughole, shower hinges and darkened grout around the bath. Food and service was very good. We had been advised the day before that due to a technical fault the swimming pool was closed, but were given a bottle of wine and free access to the thermal spa which was very generous....

「Apart from the bathroom sink being a tad small and the Ghost Ship Ale not being on till Thursday night, the trip was great. Friendly staff, plenty of breakfast and great for walking the wetlands after work」

「Definitely a place to remember and unwind after a busy time of work, whether that be holding which we hadn’t tried or enjoying a very nice view while having a drink to enjoying a relaxing time in their swimming pool. The food was spot on, affordable to the time we spend there. Definitely will return in the near future for another well needed time away from work.」

「The hotel is in a beautiful location just a short walk from the Centre of Oulton Broad where there is a lovely park, in interesting museum (with free entry) and a few pubs and restaurants. You can also take a boat trip from here. We highly recommend the food at the hotel, our evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.」
