"Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them."

"This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. A high chair or booster and or pack n play to use would have been a bonus, but we...

"The host went above and beyond on a cpl different items. Cleaned out the garage so I could park my trailed motorcycle inside, let us check in early and was very responsive on both occasions. House was clean and stocked with coffee and welcoming snacks. Plus a bottle of wine on the table. It just so happened to be a bottle that I liked. I did leave a bottle In return of a different wine. "There was no works to describe my stay there… it gave me exactly what I was looking for in a LOFT type stay… will definitely stay again and property owner was amazing as well and got back to me in a timely manner"

"My brother and I went to Detroit for the NFL draft. This property was perfect for us. Close to downtown (20 minutes) with a quiet neighborhood feel. Owner was very responsive. Game room was very nice when we got back to the house. I would highly recommend."

"Sonder was in a great location for walking to places downtown. The beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. The front desk staff was helpful. Unfortunately, Sonder put a FedEx address for picking up mail that didn’t exist and it cost me quite a bit of time and money to pick up my mail in a timely manner which was sent outside of Detroit. This is clearly their mistake and I feel they should compensate me for their error. Have a nice stay…just don’t ever need anything to be sent to you."
