Certainly a newer place, lobby is large and appealing. Not much nearby at present, IMO too far to walk to anything. Room was nice.

Security guards aren’t the problem but they sure act like they know it all , when there chasing you down the hall , just cause where native doesn’t mean we should get disrespected… not cool for the security that cause a lot of problems with our stay ..

We spent 4 days at the Chateau Nova in a King Apartment Suite with kitchen. The suite was clean and comfortable. The staff made us feel at home and was always helpful and responsive. I was impressed by the quality of the in-house restaurant, which comes in handy on cold days when you don't want to go out. Great location, close to the airport, downtown, the Prince of Wales Heritage Museum and the Legislature building. There is also a grocery store a couple of blocks away.

I stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment suite with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and dishwasher.The unit itself was nice...very comfy king sized bed and tv in the bedroom. There were no tea towels, no dishwasher pods, no welcome packet of coffee or anything like that. I asked for coffee but there was nothing but decaf. There were stains on the ceiling and light fixture of the livingroom which could easily be cleaned with a damp cloth. The property could be great if the owners or management tried to provide a better experience for the clients.

Front desk had difficulties communicating in English- and they really didn’t understand the guest services portion of their job. Hotel was good. And I will stay here again

Always stay at the Château Nova when we visit Yellowknife, its family friendly, quiet, great restaurant and love the option for the 1 bedroom apartment style rooms with full kitchens.

The location is good and the room is spacious. We are just disappointed with the housekeeping. We stayed for 6 nights but the room was tidy up only once, and did not collected our garbage. We have to request the front desk to clean up the room properly, vacummed the carpet, replaced are old dirty towels and replenished our toiletries; which is not supposed to be happening when you are staying in a hotel. Overall its was okay, but I hope they will do better on keeping the rooms clean.

Everything was great. Convenient location near downtown, Prince of Whales, and the legislative Assembly. The room was spacious and quiet. Lots of parking available.
