“No words to describe how dirty this place was. The smell of bleach was so bad I wanted to die. It was 10 pm and no other choice the hell hole or my car”

“Clean at first site. Got ate up with bites when we went to bed and woke up itching. Cute spot and good food close by.”

“Spacious and quiet room except there was a group of people being loud and annoying outside in the middle of the night. The AC was powerful yet quiet. There were also like 10 fruit flies in our room. A few of the small towels were yellow and had dust but the big ones were fine. Plenty of parking spots. Breakfast was not bad. No elevator.”

“Balcony view was decent, but sadly Cedar Key was hit very hard by Helene in 2024 and has not recovered well. Many restaurants /bars boarded up and for sale. Staff was not there when I arrived at 2:45 so I had a 10 -15 minute wait . Nicest place in the area was Island Hotel, their restaurant and Neptune Bar.”

“First web site says 2 pm check in and it’s 3pm we were told, when arrived at 1:55pm, next we requested king bed and they advertised king bed but only twin beds, next we waited over 10 mins in heat outside to get guy woke up to wait on us, then waited outside while they made bed and emptied trash and swept and mopped! Then they did not provide us with wash clothes, we went to 5pm wedding and got back at 11 pm went to bathe and no wash clothes! Then could not get anyone to take key and complain……

“Stay away from this place !!!! I feel like I was robbed and I know I was scammed by the girl that was working there! She had a sign on the counter saying Cash Only which I paid! When we got to the room and realized that the beds were hard as a rock and the bathroom was dirty we went back to the office and said we wanted our money back because we couldn’t sleep on the bed and she smirked and said it doesn’t work that way just because we didn’t like the bed and refused to give us the money!!! She……

“I love small older family owned hotels and this was the best of the best. Wonderful staff and owner, nice room, great pool and it is on a hill looking down onto the riverfront where they have a bait, tackle and gift store with a restaurant inside for breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there both days, it was very good with homemade biscuits. You can put your boat in right there, and several other restaurants in walking distance. We had a great stay and they have a full coffee pot in each……

“We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. Everything we needed was provided, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We were very happy with our stay and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others and would gladly stay here again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“This is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the Suwannee River. A Boaters, fishermen, or hunters paradise, with all the basics, in a rustic setting. A great restaurant right next door puts the frosting on the Cake. The Suwannee River Cruise gives you extremely interesting insight into the history of the river, and views of manatees, alligators, otters and so much morel.”

“was super clean except trash cans in kitchen and both bathrooms wer full when we got there. there was also a lot of construction going on all around the unit and several times the construction workers were blocking us from coming & going & we repeatedly had to ask them to move”
