“Cheap price, very clean！”

“Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. “This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property’s condition was unacceptable. After checking in, I immediately found the room was not acceptable and left within minutes. The hotel acknowledged the issue and told me they would refund the full charge. They even issued a credit to my credit card, but then reversed it without explanation. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly, I was unable to get the promised refund. I ultimately had to dispute the charge……

“Nicole was great greeting me and providing information. The breakfast was excellent. I rated good on the room due to there being a slight odor. Not sure if from smoking. The beds, however, were as comfortable as a much more expensive hotel. I had a great night sleep and that was most important.”

“We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. “Nice place for an overnight if you are traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway. Super clean and a great staff.”

“I travel a lot for business and this was an extremely clean property. I was hesitant, as in the past Red Roof Inns were not a place I would stay. This is an exception to the rule. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean, smelled good, and had a comfortable bed and great AC. I would stay again.”
