“The scenery is nice, but there were nuisance calls in the middle of the night, and then the front desk knocked on our door, waking us up, asking if we needed tissue. Didn't sleep well.”

“The staff was excellent. The pool is at another building with approximately 15 chairs. There is no elevator but lots of stairs. No ice machines but staff will get you ice. No bar at the Lighthouse. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Balcony overlooks the bay. You will see turtles, mana rays, seagulls. Very quiet at night. The breakfast is placed in your refrigerator so cold muffins, yogurt and juice. We loved every minute there.”

“The room was beautiful however the bed post were loose and upon arrival went to check the room before unloading and only to find a roach crawling across the countertop and underneath the keurig machine and a dead one on the floor next to the night stand. We took video of the situation sowed it to the desk clerks and the only solution they came up with was to refund my money. So we left and found a holiday in to accommodate us last minute and paid $300.00 extra for my birthday weekend. I booked……

“There wasn't a bar or a fridge in the room. However the hotel was very accommodating to your requests. This is a historical property it's quaint and beautiful without the glitz and glamour of a modern day hotel.”

“This hotel is a facade. It looked nice and new but then the TV didn’t work, the internet didn’t work, the stove top in the efficiency didn’t work, the hot water in the kitchen didn’t work, the dish washer leaked all over the floor, the free breakfast was missing the first morning except a long line of 25 people getting waffles and the second morning slim pickings with an even longer line for waffles from people making six waffles each and taking literally 25 sausages on one plate. All that and……

“Stayed one night just to not have to continue a long drive - Smelled musty and honestly, like pee as well. Looked like the sheets were yellow, and the whole place made me feel like I had to itch all night. Stains almost everywhere. And if you have a larger car, good luck with the parking. Staff was super nice, just not a nice place to stay (even just for a night to sleep)…. Hopefully they change all these issues, But if not, good luck to whoever chooses this hotel :/”
