“House keeping didn't check in everyday, the wifi was spotty at times, there wasn't a microwave, and the refrigerator wasn't already cold, and the breakfast was minimal, however the good outweighed the bad. Great price for the area and for the amenities. The room and hotel were clean, the tv was decent, the pool and hot tub were clean (though crowded) and we were a 5 minute walk away from the beach. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to go on a vacation on a budget!”

“This is one of our go to’s in OC. We are always pleased with everything. This time around we got a room where the AC was not working at its full potential. We spent 2 nights but reported the bad AC after the 1st night and we were given a fan which is fine I guess as a quick solution but the AC unit really needs to be fixed. We barely slept the 2 nights we were there due to the heat and high humidity. I don’t think this is a common thing at this hotel as they are very much on top of everything……

“Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, it was quiet despite being on the highway, and staff was friendly. We could view the ocean from the window, and the bay from the balcony. We were on the 5th floor in the south building. Bagels and muffins were available in the morning at the office. The elevator was a bit scary, it liked to pause for long moments then lurch around. The bathroom was ridiculously small, barely room to stand and turn around, the sink was in the hallway. While the……

“Check in was at 4:00 and we arrived shortly after that to find a lobby full of people who were obviously annoyed and some were yelling loudly. The internet was out (which understandably does happen) which was forcing guests to pay cash or wait until the internet was back up to check in (no reasonable time was given when this was expected to happen) Luckily we had cash and proceeded to be able to check in. The next 20 minutes were spent counting and recounting the cash they had asked for several……
