“I had an excellent stay. I was greeted warmly for check in. I then ate dinner at the restaurant which was good. The server was kind and attentive. The hotel/room is antiquated (in a good way), but very clean. The bathroom has a remodeled shower and toilet. It has character, unlike a sterile hotel room elsewhere. The bed was actually incredibly comfortable. Sheets were clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast is simple, but homey. And I appreciate that. Definitely seems like a hidden gem in……

“It was so much fun to stay in a caboose! The accommodations were great—simple, clean, had everything we needed. The staff was so attentive. We were running late, and Christine stayed to wait for us. The restaurant was lovely as well, with great service and food! I can’t wait to come back and try another caboose!”

In addition, The Speckled Hen cafe was phenomenal and very conveniently put -right across, in walking distance. We appreciate the voucher we got for breakfast and loved that it was kid friendly with a play area and the food itself was actually way better than any hotel buffet food.
