It was a nice stay, staff very friendly and helpful. The noise from traffic going by was a little much and in room coffee was awful, had to wait until restaurant opened and I'm an early bird.

Staff is extremely nice. Rooms are small but very clean. A unique experience staying in a real caboose, right along the Strasburg Railroad. We’ve been going there for over 10 years, and there are improvements every year. This is the closest place to stay. to the Strasburg Railroad and Pennsylvania Railroad Museum. Toy train museum is directly next-door buggy rides available on site. Restaurant at the motel is very good

We loved the place and enjoyed staying there. The hot water runs out because they have a small tank and they have openings in the bathroom ceiling so insects were welcome to joy us in our stay. We enjoyed overall it felt cozy and peaceful. we stay in the caboose with a queen ben and a double bunk bed room. AC and heater works great.

I stayed at the Red Caboose motel as a child. 40 years later, it is still a really neat and unusual place to stay. A lot of remodeling has been done on the cabooses in that time, but the amenities are great. Staff was very attentive and friendly -- you know, the kind of staff that enjoys their job and make it show every time. Our caboose had four bunks, a double bed, TV, A/C, electric baseboard heat, a hot shower, nice bathroom sink, fridge/freezer, microwave. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to maybe returning next year.

Overall I like this place and will likely stay here again. This was our fourth stay when in town for Sight and Sound. Positives: location, overall cleanliness, that we don't have to carry our bags through a hotel to our room, we can park right outside our room, staff very friendly, bed reasonably comfortable, fridge and microwave in every room, and reasonably priced. Negatives but not deal breakers: shower very small, saw paint peeling where wall meets carpet, I have an aversion to carpeting in shared spaces, and internet on tv buffered a lot.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything was just as we hoped. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially loved the charming caboose experience—it was fun, cozy, and something we won’t soon forget. The peaceful surroundings and unique setting made it a perfect getaway. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend the Red Caboose Motel to anyone looking for something different, relaxing, and memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed in the honeymoon suite. We booked this room to celebrate our anniversary. We liked that there was a whirlpool tub that we got to enjoy and relax in. The room had two full sets of towels which was nice to have, one for the shower and one for the whirlpool. The bed was quite comfortable. We really liked that the air conditioner was already on and the room was cooled down when we arrived. This was a nice touch especially since it was extremely warm that day. We would recommend this motel.
