「Hospitality far exceeded expextation. Arrived 5 hours late due to ferry delays and they waited up until 1am for us to arrive. Room and beds spacious and comfortable. Breakfast well cooked and plentiful. Amazing folk」

「Rough rural property. Shower didn’t work and bathtub slippery and risky for seniors. Beds clean and comfortable and terrace with a lovely view of cow pasture, lots of swallows and birdsong. So — mixed. The Rising Sun restaurant connected was very good and inexpensive.」

「Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.」

「An absolutely beautiful hotel in the most perfect location. Well appointed, comfortable rooms with lots of extras (even chocolate on the night stand). Great shower with plenty of hot water. Everything we wanted to see was a short stroll ( not long enough to be a walk) This is the place to stay!!!」
