「The continental breakfast was just ok」

「The room was clean. Check in staff was very friendly. No pool. I was disappointed in breakfast. Waffles, cereal, breads and biscuits & gravy. No protein other than the sausage in the gravy. I'd like eggs as I can't eat pork. I know that is not an anomaly. There was some fruit and yogurts. And there is no elevator.」

「I have been staying at this hotel for many years, but this was the last time. The Internet access is horrible. It times out at least once per hour, requiring you to refresh your login to get on line. Sometimes, the speed is so slow you can hardly download email. I loved seeing Howie, was friendly and such a pleasure to greet us. I would definitely recommend staying here.」

I would recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in Algona.」

「I had to ask for a different too. Cause the blankets were dirty in the first one. Got a new one and same problem plus it was a smell in the room. The hot water pressure sucked ass. Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.」

「The whole point was to have the pool and hot tub- both were out of order, and from a walk I took around the property, this has been a long time issue that was not disclosed on the website. If I had known about their maintenance shortfalls I would have selected another location. Traveling as a hearing impaired person is always an adventure, enhanced by an overzealous employee who tried at least 6 times to give me a waffle. Generally the building is showing neglect and and lack of attention to...
