“There was plenty of birds and trails.
The staff was very nice and helpful.
The food was unexpectedly great.
The road getting up to the reserve is a little rocky/bumpy but thats literally the only concern everything else was amazing.”

“Beautiful grounds, but no restaurant or real hospitality
The grounds are well kept and the pool is beautiful with lush vegetation around it, about 1.2 hours from Quito. That's where the positives end.
There is no functioning restaurant despite what's advertised — we were directed to a roadside eatery up the street with questionable sanitation. "Included" breakfast required scheduling an appointment and lady was not there a worker came out and told us to waited to brew coffee; we skipped it……

“Prachtig gelegen accomodatie, midden in de natuur. Uitstekende plek voor vogelliefhebbers. Bijzonder vriendelijke mensen, maaltijden uitstekend. Kies bij voorkeur een hoog gelegen huisje, omwille van beter zicht op de omgeving en de vogels.
Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf. Twee nachten waren te kort.”

They also provided hot breakfast with different choices.
Just one bad thing, the shower water was cold.”

“This hotel is in a residential area. There is no one around on the streets in the late afternoon when it’s still light out but because of the lack of people, it is my opinion, that increases your risk of walking in the neighborhood to eat dinner or go to the minimart. Every location including the hotel are locked up super securely. The staff were great. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, a cheese tortilla, fruit, coffee or tea and great juice. We were in the room right off of the reception and it……
