One of a kind custom home with exceptional views overlooking Strait of Georgia

"Breathtaking is the only word for this place. From the great room and deck you look straight west across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. We watched the sunset from the hot tub and the deck, then stayed out as the stars came out and lit up the whole sky in a way you never see in the city. In the mornings we were back on the deck with coffee, watching the first light spread across the water. The house itself is just as memorable. Liz and Hal built it as artists, and you notice it everywhere you look: in the floors, the woodwork, the doors and the art on every wall. The kitchen is excellent, there is plenty of room to spread out, and the whole place was spotless. The whole experience was stunning from start to finish. We’d come back in a heartbeat."

"We loved our stay! We got lucky that the fire ban had ended, so we were able to enjoy a lovely campfire, which made the evenings extra special. We also made our way down to the water and did some kayaking. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot.The kitchen is really well stocked and had everything we needed during our stay. Even a can opener! Ian and Jackie are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. They even made us a banana bread to welcome us, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here.One fair warning for anyone planning to head down to the water: there are about 150 steps, with a combination of stairs and a bit of a hill. It all feels secure and well maintained, but it is definitely a bit of a trek, especially coming back up! Something to keep in mind if stairs or mobility are a concern.Thanks again, Ian and Jackie, for such a lovely stay!"
