"Beautiful location & an absolutely wonderful stay! Our group of 4 had plenty of room to spread out, hang out & completely relax. The water views are gorgeous, the property is surrounded by tons of wildlife & the hot tub was amazing. Someone in our group even fished multiple times a day right from the property.The outdoor setup is fantastic, beautifully lit at night with plenty of seating options everywhere, an excellent fire pit & a great deck overlooking the water. Inside, the kitchen made cooking & cleanup super easy—especially the large island & the huge farm sink with the sprayer. The place is incredibly well-stocked with all the basics, from indoor/outdoor dishes & grilling utensils to spices and outdoor chairs to accommodatethe size of your geoup. The absolute highlight was the host’s quick response & help & the hospitality. We had requested a crockpot so we could have food ready after our float trip & she went above & beyond by purchasing a brand-new, nice one & having it delivered just for us to use!There are tons of great things to do nearby, from grocery shopping & dining to antiquing & outdoor activities are unlimited & Ark is “The Natural State” for a reason.Just two very minor things for future guests to note: The front door sticks a bit when opening and closing, so it takes a little muscle. Also, the back bathroom (with the washer/dryer) doesn't have central airflow, so it can get a bit warm and humid if you keep the door closed while running the sh"

"We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the opportunity to get away, slow down, and recharge. The property is in a beautiful, peaceful setting, and it was a wonderful place for our group of five to step away from everyday responsibilities for a bit. We appreciated the comfortable atmosphere, the indoor and outdoor seating, the reliable hot water, the washer and dryer, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home.One thing future guests may want to plan around is the limited freezer space, especially if they intend to bring groceries and prepare meals during their stay. For us, it became an unexpected opportunity to change things up! We decided to take a break from grocery shopping and cooking and instead visit a different local restaurant each evening. It ended up costing about the same as buying groceries and having someone cook, while giving us the chance to explore the area and enjoy a true break from our usual routines.We also appreciated the quiet, natural beauty surrounding the property. Sometimes the best part of a getaway is simply having the time and space to breathe, reconnect, laugh, and enjoy being together without the usual demands of daily life.Thank you for opening your home to us and sharing such a beautiful place. We came away feeling grateful for the time spent there and for the much-needed rest and recharge we all needed. We truly enjoyed our stay and will remember the beauty, peace, and time together fondly!"
