Lovely market town, we did a walk around the castle and woodland park which was lovely. Had a scone and a tea at one of many Skipton cafes. Very cute.

The bar staff were superb. Property tired
"Just read the other reviews. I arrived late and really felt like i was a chore to the receptionist. Then she wanted a credit card which is normal to cover drinks etc, but I asked why and she replied ‘for damage’! No explanation."

"Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . We were given a free parking pass into the Bolton Abbey estate. Had a walk to the Strid then coffee and cake at the Pavilion.
