Beautiful tranquil place, great hosts, and delicious home made food. Lots of beautiful lakes and scenery around, and your own private hot tub. Would definitely recommend!
Our break at Montana Hill Guest Ranch was great! Super kind and lovely hosts and amazing views. The perfect place for a detox break surrounded by nature!
Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Nice, comfortable cabin with excellent facilities. Definitely worth having dinner while visiting, excellent food cooked with farm fresh ingredients. Would love to visit again when returning to Canada.
Beautiful location and farm. Easy to find. We had three friendly horses in front of our accommodation when we arrived! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our accommodation could have been a bit cleaner, particularly the kitchen items. We enjoyed out stay very much.

A wonderful place to stay. Very peaceful. Loved the ‘extras’ eg hand cream and shower products, the board games etc. Would highly recommend!
Quiet and peaceful place. Perfect for those who are looking for a farm stay! My kids enjoyed the farm animals- milking baby cows and picking eggs . The owners are very nice!
Very nice experience. Heritage cottage was like coming back in the 70's/80's. Owners super friendly. Relaxing surrouding, beautiful view, nice animals.
Just one downside: we had dinner and breakfast at the ranch but this was far overpriced, more expensive than in any good restaurant in Canada we have been.
This is a special place with its own charms - particularly the animals. I can imagine it could be a lot of fun for kids. For us, with an overnight stay and arriving on a motorbike, it was more of a mixed bag. The road into the property is absolutely fine for cars, but motorcyclists should be aware that they are driving on gravel, including loose gravel around the facility itself. It was fine, but it is something to note. Elaine and Al are lovely, but I got the feeling that they had done enough socialising for this season, so we didn't feel particularly welcome in the shared areas. In retrospect, in our particular case it might have been better to pick one of the resorts close to the nearby lakes. But I can also see why this place is different and special. The cabins were well appointed and the hot tub on the balcony was lovely. In summary, we are glad we went, but it would be better suited people who would make better use of what the property offers.
Amazing hosts. Great little find. Amazing little cabins. Was a perfect quiet get away. Highly recommend. Hosts were very accomodating. Cabins had everything we wanted and more.
I loved the staff came out to greet us and personally show us around. They had some great activities around the ranch. Making it as one of my places to spot and disconnect for the grid for awhile when I’m there.
The best part of staying at the ranch was Elaine and her husband Al. These two people work so hard to give you the most amazing experience you can have while staying with them at there ranch. The cabins were clean, the hottub.....AMAZING, not to mention the unbelievable tenderloin dinner......ive never seen such a spread and the place itself was beautiful. So quiet and serene. Anyone looking to relax and get away from it all while meeting two of the nicest kindest people ive ever met then you need to stay at the Montana hills guest ranch. Thank you again Elaine and Al for an incredible stay.
Great hosts. A place to unwind and spend time with family. Where you can happily forget modern amenities. The horses and cows were very friendly and welcome a pet everyday. It felt like a small hobby farm more than a ranch. It I am no expert on the matter.

The ranch was peaceful and beautiful and hosts were helpful and kind. We stayed in the heritage house and it was decent if you expect rustic and all that comes with an old cabin on a ranch. Shower is not pleasant. No dairy cow to milk or make cheese as advertised but plenty of old vhs tapes to watch (fun for my teenager who had never seen this “technology”). We don’t ride horses so can’t share insight there. Did not take advantage of the available breakfast or dinner due to price but we used our cabin kitchen to cook. Love waking up to the calves outside our door! Website is inaccurate but my guess is it isn’t up to date because property is for sale. It was a neat experience but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
